Colourtex Recipe for One Bath Dyeing of


                              Polyester x Cationic Dyeable Polyester blend
                  AGES

                                               Dyeing –1500 MTS. (150 kgs.)
                                                                           o
                                       Disperse dye inletion (at 40 C) followed by
                                                                             o
                                                    Cationic Dye (at 60 C)
                                          (One-bath Dyeing ) in Jet Dyeing M/c.


                      Acetic Acid (98 % - pH 4)           :      750 + 750 gms.
                      Levocol CAP (Anti Precipitating Agent)  :  750 gms.
                      Levocol CDFT (Levelling Agent)      :      500 gms.      Some important points for dyeing
                      Glauber’s Salt                      :      1500 gms.     PET x CDPET are :
                      Coracryl - Cationic Dyes            :      X %           -  Polyester portion always dyed
                  EXECUTIVE  P
                                                                                  with lighter to medium shade
                      Coralene - Disperse Dyes            :      Y %              compare to Cationic part.
                      (Pre Dissolved with Acetic Acid and hot water)

                                    At 115 C to 118 C for 45 mins.                                    o

                             Drain and Cold rinse and carry out Finishing on stenter.
                      Following are the suggestions for one bath dyeing of Polyeter x Cationic Dyeable Polyester :
                      A. First weigh the cationic dye separately and dissolve it with equal quantity of Acetic Acid (98%) and hot
                         water.
                      B. Dissolve Disperse dye separately with water (Do not add any Dispersing Agents)
                                            o
                      C. Set the dye bath at 40 C, Inlet auxiliary as described in the recipe than inlet pre-dissolved Disperse
                         dyes first and run for 10 mins.

                         Raise the temperature by 1 C/min to 60 C then inlet pre dissolved Cationic dye, run for 10 mins
                                              o              o
                         and start heating with 1 C/min up to 90 C, hold for 10 mins.
                                                  o              o                                     o
                         Again raise the temp. to 118 C at the rate of 1 C/min. Hold for 45 mins. Cool down to 90 C, match
                         the sample and if ok drain the bath and do reduction clear.
                      D. Reduction Clear with,     Hydros               -      2 g/l        o
                                                   Caustic Soda         -      1 g/l   At 80 C for 20 mins.
                                                   Levocol CDFT         -      0.5 g/l
