| Other Important Particulars | GCPL began its export since its incorporation on 25th January, 2002 tton enriched. The first market for our products was the USA which is the largest importer of cotton and cotton enriched goods from India, China, Pakistan and Bangladesh. In the process of establishing ourselves as a long term exporter of the 100% Cotton and Cotton enriched bed sheet sets, we learnt four things – Maintain quality consistency, competitive price, timely delivery of goods and the best after-sale support to the buyers if any complaint arises. And these four learnings have become principles of our company till date. The company believes in steady and consistent growth. We have gradually expanded our market and customer base to avoid market risk concentration. In the F.Y. 2019-20, total exports to the USA was 58.49% and to other countries 41.51% as compared to 83.38% to the USA and 16.62% to other countries in 2018-19. We foresee better growth in time to come. The whole world is presently passing through one of the worst period of the century. Our products are much in demand for hygiene purposes at home and hospitals in the developed countries. Apart from looking at it as an opportunity, we find ourselves committed to maintain the supply of the above items despite a lot more challenges at our end. We have also taken care that our workers and staff are not left unemployed; we have paid their wages and salary even for the lockdown period.
