Colorant Ltd. receives “Anil Mehta award” by The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI)

“COLORANT” is one of the leading Manufacturers and Exporters of “Colron Reactive Dyes”. It is the first Indian Dyestuff Company to be certified for prestigious “ZDHC (Level-3)” Certification. The Company is Government recognized “Export House” since 2007.

It’s a matter of great pride that M/s. Colorant Limited to have received prestigious “Anil Mehta award” by The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India for best dyestuff manufacturing unit. The function was held on 12 November, 2021 at Hotel Sea Princess, Mumbai. The award was received by Mr. Subhash Bhargava (Managing Director) through the hands of Padam Bhushan Rajjubhai Shroff (Chairman UPL group) and Mr. Yogendra Tripathi (Secretary- Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Government of India).

DMAI honors its members with annual awards for their excellence in various fields, felicitates students of Color Chemistry from ICT, conducts Seminars, arranges and hosts overseas Trade Delegations and organizes Conferences to bring Colorant makers and its diverse users on a common platform to understand the present and future needs and deliberate on available products, future trends and developments.

Colorant Limited also received first award for their performance in domestic market for the year 2019-20 & 2020-21.

The Dyestuffs Manufacturers Association of India (DMAI), established in 1950, is the Apex Body representing Dyestuffs, Pigments, Optical Brighteners and Dyes Intermediates Manufacturers from all over the country, covering all sectors of the Colorants Industry – small scale units to multinationals; a fact well recognized by the Government authorities. DMAI regularly takes up various issues of concern to the Colorant Industry with the respective Government Agencies. Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India seeks DMAI opinion before framing policies concerning Colorants Industry.
