Wrap certifies Socially Responsible factories in the sewn-products sectorWhat is WRAP?

Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia, USA, with regional offices in Hong Kong, SAR, and Dhaka, Bangladesh, and full-time staff in Europe, India, Latin America, and Southeast Asia (Vietnam, Thailand and Indonesia), WRAP is an independent, objective, non-profit team of global social compliance experts dedicated to promoting safe, lawful, humane, and ethical manufacturing around the world through certification and education.

The WRAP Advantage

WRAP’s primary activity is the Certification Program. It is the largest independent facility certification program in the world focused on apparel, footwear, and sewn products. WRAP issues three levels of certification that are valid from six months to two years based on a facility’s compliance with it’s 12 Principles. These are based on generally accepted international workplace standards, local laws and workplace regulations, and include the spirit or language of relevant conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the United Nations Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, and the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD)’s Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises.

WRAP’s goal is to ensure that production facilities operate in a safe, responsible, and ethical way.
