Bangladesh Terry Towel & Linen Manufacturers & Exporters
Bangladesh Terry Towel & Linen Manufacturers & Exporters Association (BTTLMEA) is an association of 100% export oriented industries producing and exporting bed linen, towel, upholstery and all kinds of Hometextile products. This sector started maiden journey with only one manufacturing unit in 80s. This infant industry developed very well and the number to our registered members 110 at present. In financial Year 2019-2020 the export was US$ 795.64 million and US$ 1,003.00 million has been projected for the financial year 2020-2021. Though this sector accounts for only US$ 1 billion out of US$ 35 billion export earnings, the effective contribution to national economy is much more because of high ratio of domestic value addition. Our members have directly employed over 100 thousands men and women.
