Leaders of the Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association (VITAS), Mr. Vu Duc Giang – Chairman and Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Mai – Deputy General Secretary cum Head of Representative Office in HCMC had a meeting with officials of Li&Fung Group in Ho Chi Minh City on February 20, 2023.
At the meeting, VITAS President, Mr. Vu Duc Giang shared with the delegation the latest updates on Vietnam’s textile and garment industry in the past year as well as the development direction of the industry in the coming time. The Chairman also highly appreciated Li&Fung’s great role and contribution to Vietnam’s textile and garment industry.
Representative of Li&Fung, General Director of Southeast Asia – Ms. Fatya Mamcu highly appreciated Vietnam’s textile and garment supply chain. She hopes that more Vietnamese businesses will join Li&Fung’s supply chain. At the same time, through VITAS, Li&Fung can also access major textile factories in Vietnam. Ms. Fatya also expressed her belief in the corporation’s future development in Vietnam and the strong rise of the entire textile and garment industry.
