At the beginning of the year, 2020 Textile Today was moving forward with the slogan in mind ‘Textile Today is transforming itself into an Innovation Hub’. At the end of 2020, through its huge innovative activities, Textile Today has been revealed as a functional and effective ‘Innovation Hub’.
Textile Today organized an Innovation Adda on 24th November 2020.
To celebrate these transformation Textile Today organized an Innovation Adda on 24th November 2020 where the experts from different areas of the textile industry who are leading and guiding the executors, STB Black Belt participants who are working directly in the factory with different existing problem statements to find out the best possible solution and the Textile Today team members were present.
The Innovation Adda was just a small Innovation rapport build up session among experts and STB Black Belt participants of the Fall Semester of Textile Today Training.
Tareq Amin, Founder & CEO of Textile Today has started the adda with his short greeting speech. Later Engr. Md Nasir Ullah Engr. Md. Nasir Ullah, Country Manager, Officina +39; Md. Rahat Ullah Rashed, Head Of Technical Support, Taiwan Persotex Corporation; Engr. Rafat Hasan Chowdhury, Ex DGM at Amber Denim, Md. Shihab Nur, DGM (Sales & Marketing), FCI (BD) Ltd; S.M. Rashadur Rahaman Setu, Ex – Executive at Masco Group and Ariful Islam, Sr. Merchandiser, Toray International shared their views regarding the initiative of ‘Setting Transformation Blueprint’.

The Guests shared that they have faced many problems when they started their career-long years back. Thanking Textile Today for realizing the gap between industry and academia taking the initiative where the new professionals will be greatly benefited as well as the Industry will get many effective and proven solutions and the unique model of ’Setting Transformation Blueprint’ can be implemented to get solution of different existing problems in their industry. They are really happy to be a part of the Textile Today Innovation Hub.
STB Black Belt Participants from different universities and different industries also shared their real-time experience of working with the STB projects in different factories.
Textile Today, a recognized and acclaimed industry platform has been catalyzing systematic positive changes in the industry. As an Innovation Hub, it helps, facilitates, innovates and grows factories, suppliers, professionals, learners, etc. in a systematic approach. More than 150 experts from different areas of the textile industry have already been engaged with 100 Setting Transformation Blueprint projects under Textile Talent Hunt 2019-20 competition. More than 20 factories have joined as Industry Partner with this initiative ‘Setting Transformation Blueprint’.
“PEOPLE”- Profitable and Effective Organization through People Leadership & Excellence is another strong, effective and functional wing of Textile Today which is working with the aim of organizational development aspect with the systematic problem-solving based approach. Textile Today PEOPLE team includes Experienced Textile engineers, Industrial & production Engineers and Experienced HR & Business Process Specialist.
The Innovation Adda turned into a warm get-together of the STB Black Belt participants, Experts and Textile Today Innovation Hub team members. Everyone expressed their spontaneous and strong determination to carry the Innovation Hub forward successfully and come back to this Innovation Adda every semester of STB Black Belt.
