The AEI TEXTILS , the Technical Textiles Cluster of Catalonia, participated in one of the main events of the European Commission aimed at industry, the EU Industry Days and EU Industry Week . The event took place during a week (from February 22 to 26) in which industrial policy, support mechanisms for small and medium-sized enterprises and how the different European ecosystems can be strengthened by promoting digitalization and the ecological transition to be more resilient.
The AEI TEXTILS was invited to participate, the last day of the event, the panel of the European Cluster Collaboration Platform , as one of the clusters most active and consolidated experience in collaborations between clusters that has led him to coordinate two strategic projects registered : CLAMTEX and GALACTICA, both with a high degree of intersectoral collaboration.
Josep Casamada , project manager at AEI Tèxtils , presented his experience in the European cluster community, the main benefits offered by the platform and how the cluster is using it to connect and establish collaborations throughout Europe.
The AEI TEXTILS is putting efforts to increase communication and collaboration at European level with the aim of providing better services to their members and they contribute to increase their competitiveness through innovation and digitization.
The clusters act as a hub and a collaborative environment that facilitates partnerships between companies, research centers, policy makers and other institutions that promote innovation and provide SMEs access to new skills, resources and markets.
