Espero France Knitwear Project by students of the IFM-Kering Fashion Sustainability Certificate
Maria Streang and Lucile Guehl worked with the Espero/Fil d’Avenir atelier, teaching a group of 9 Afghan refugee men artisanal techniques through a series of creative workshops in order to produce an upcycled knitwear collection. The collection aims to tackle the idea of resource depletion and recirculation and touch on ethical grounds while offering an easy-going product viable for the contemporary wardrobe.
