ICEX launches a new call for Internationalization Scholarships

ICEX Spain Exports and Investments opens on March 26 the call for the 46th promotion of the ICEX Business Internationalization Scholarships  to train young professionals in this field and promote their employment. The period will be open until April 22 at 14:00 (GMT Madrid).

 

The call that now starts will be made up of three phases : Phase 0, Phase I and Phase II.

Phase 0 corresponds to the Official University Master’s Degree in International Business Management of 75 academic credits taught by ICEX-CECO in Madrid, in an academic alliance with the Menéndez Pelayo International University. Between 288 and 300 candidates will access this phase.

The course begins on October 4, 2021 and ends the week of September 30, 2022 with the reading in court of the master’s thesis.

ICEX will grant an endowment of 500 euros per student to cover the costs of accommodation, transport and maintenance during this period. The aid may be raised to 2,000 euros for those who have been registered outside the Community of Madrid for at least three years before the date of publication of this call.

As it is an official master’s degree, those selected have the possibility of accessing the scholarships and study aids convened annually by the Ministry of Universities with the aim that no possible beneficiary can be excluded from accessing these studies for financial reasons, thus ensuring social cohesion and equal opportunities.

The Phase I corresponds to the practices in the network of economic and trade offices abroad Spain, which will take place over 12 months from January to December 2023. She can access from a minimum of 260 and a maximum of 285 candidates . During this phase, the scholarship recipients will receive an annual award that this time varies, depending on the destination, between 21,300 euros in Paraguay and 42,800 in Japan.

The Phase II is the corresponding period of practices in companies, entities or international organizations, within and outside Spain, starting in the first quarter of 2024. accede to Phase II who have successfully completed Phase I of practices economic and commercial offices.

The Internationalization Scholarships-46th promotion program responds to the needs that economic agents have expressed in their process of international expansion. Its ultimate purpose is to support the internationalization of companies through the training of professionals.
